Paintings

These pages include examples of my work.

  • The mixed media paintings are a combination of old and new works, some on canvas and the newest on paper. They are a combination of paint, papers, bits of material, pastel and found objects
  • Encaustics paintings (pigment infused into beeswax)are works done on different surfaces with mixed mediums.
  • "Bulgarian Paintings" refers to works I did while on two separate artist residencies ( 2003 & 2005) in the Rhodopes Mountains of Bulgaria.
  • The Whale Trail is a powerpoint history of the whale I painted for the University of Connectucut's Avery Point Campus
